The best time to call us is before you finish the book.

Coaching starts the day you sign, not the day you upload

Most authors call when the manuscript is done and the launch is six weeks out. That is precisely the moment we can help you least. Sign early and you're coached the entire way through — while there's still time to change something.

  • Sign early, get coached longer. We don't bill by the hour and we don't start a clock. The author who signs in month two simply gets more of us than the author who signs in month ten. Same package, same price.
  • Everything happens in the right order. Categories and keywords before the cover. Cover before the ARC team. ARC team before the upload. Skip a step and you don't feel it right away — you feel it in your rank, three weeks after launch, when it's expensive to fix.
  • No rush fees, because no rushing. If your book isn't ready for the date you picked, we will tell you to move the date. That conversation is free. Publishing a book nobody's waiting for is not.

Three packages. One free call to figure out which.

Every one of them includes coaching from signature to launch day

Package Two

Ingram + KDP

You want your softcover orderable by any bookstore or library in the country — and you still want Kindle's promotional tools. Most authors are told to pick one. You don't have to.

Everything in Package One, plus

  • Softcover loaded into IngramSpark — the catalog bookstores and libraries actually order from
  • Ebook stays on Amazon KDP, so you keep Kindle Countdown Deals and Free Book Promotions
  • Weekly meetings for the entire engagement

Splitting the formats this way is the whole point: wholesale ordering on the print side, KDP promos on the digital side.

What actually happens on the call.

Thirty minutes. No slides.

01

You tell us where you are

What's written, what's finished, who you think reads this, and what happened with your last book if there was one. Bring the mess. The mess is useful.

02

We tell you which package fits

Or that none of them do yet. Sometimes the right answer is finish the draft and call us in March, and we'd rather say that than sell you something early.

03

You get the scope in writing

Exactly what's included, exactly what it costs, and what we need from you. Then you go think about it. Nobody's chasing you with a countdown timer.

The questions everybody asks.

Is editing included?

No, and that is deliberate. Editing is where a book finds its voice, and your voice is not ours to hire for. We will gladly refer you to editors we have watched do good work — but you interview them, you pay them, and you decide when the manuscript is done. Bring us a professionally edited book and we will handle everything after that.

Who owns the rights to my book?

You do — during the engagement and after it. Your manuscript, your cover files, your royalties. We purchase the ISBNs for your book, and if you ever decide to move your catalog somewhere else, they move with you. There is no trapdoor in this anywhere.

Do you take a percentage of my royalties?

Not one cent. Amazon and Ingram pay you directly, into your own account, for as long as the book sells. We charge a fee for the work, once, and then we are done taking your money. Anyone who wants a permanent slice of your book's income is not a publishing partner. They are a landlord.

How long does the whole thing take?

There's no fixed number of weeks, and that's deliberate. You're coached from the day you sign until the day your book is live, however long that turns out to be. Which is exactly why signing early is in your interest — the engagement doesn't shrink because you started sooner.

When do I pay?

Services are paid in full before your book is published. We don't run payment plans as a standard offer.

Why does Package Two split the print and ebook between two companies?

Because that's how you get both halves. IngramSpark is the catalog bookstores and libraries order from — Amazon's print arm isn't. But Amazon's KDP promotional tools, Countdown Deals and free-book promos, require your ebook to live with them. Print through Ingram, ebook through KDP, and you stop having to choose.

I already published this book. Can you fix it?

Yes, and often. A book that is already out is a marketing problem rather than a publishing one, so it does not go into one of the three packages above — we have separate marketing packages built for exactly this. Bring your sales history, your reviews, and your current metadata to the call and we will tell you what is actually fixable.
