Superbrand Publishing is a publishing and author-services business operated by Juliet Clark in Salt Lake City, Utah. This page explains what we collect when you visit superbrandpublishing.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect
When you contact us or book a call. Your name, email address, and whatever you tell us about your book or business. We use it to answer you and to prepare for the call. Nothing else.
When you download something free. Your name and email address, so we can send you the thing you asked for and follow up with related material. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately.
When you buy something. Your billing details and what you ordered. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never reach our server or our staff.
When you become a client. Whatever the work requires — manuscript files, cover art, account access you choose to grant us, and correspondence. We keep it while we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back for a relaunch.
Automatically, when anyone visits. Standard web-server information: IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and when. This is ordinary traffic data, used to keep the site working and to understand which pages people actually read.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your shopping cart and login working, and to measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, the cart and login may stop working, but the rest of the site will be fine.
Embedded content from other sites
Some pages embed podcast players, YouTube videos, and a scheduling calendar. Those services can see that you loaded their content and may set their own cookies, exactly as if you had visited them directly. Their policies govern that, not ours.
Who else sees your information
Only the companies that run the machinery of the business: our web host, our email and CRM platform, our payment processor, our scheduling tool, and our analytics provider. They process it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it. Not to advertisers, not to other authors, not to anybody.
How long we keep it
Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Enquiries that never became work: about two years. Client and financial records: seven years, because tax law requires it. Website traffic logs: a rolling few months.
What you can ask for
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from email at any time. Email the address above and we will act on it, normally within thirty days. We may need to keep records the law requires us to keep, and we will tell you if that applies.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional statutory rights, including the right to object to processing and, in California, the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. The same email address is how you exercise all of it.
Children
This is a business-to-business site for authors. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security, honestly stated
The site runs over an encrypted connection and access to client files is limited to the people doing the work. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the current version.
